Latest Member to Family-Duffy!

Jericho has a playmate now. This is Duffy, a Bichon Frise, born June 2. He is the most cuddly little guy and he loves Jericho. At first, Jericho wasn't all that crazy about Duffy and did whatever he could to keep away from him. Well, about a month has passed and that has all changed. They are great buds and Jericho seems to be a brother to Duffy now. They've been found to share the same pet bed and they romp around the house and yard a lot. Our two cats, Doc and Figaro, even seem to get along beautifully with this new addition. Yeah, we were nuts but we sure do love animals and have enough love to share. Doesn't this pic make you think of salt and pepper? lol

Latest Stamped Items...

This was a lot of fun to come up with. Inside this purse-looking item is about the top two-thirds of a lunch bag folded in half to form to pockets. I used my Big Shot for the bird using Riding Hood Red cardstock and used Kiwi Kiss cardstock for the piece that was also cut using my Big Shot. The stamped image is using Pacific Point ink which is another new In Color. I hinged both sides with pieces punched with the Round Tab punch so it doesn't just flop open.

The Certainly Celery box with We Grow Great by Dreams stamped on it actually has a little drawer and the top of this opens like a book. A real fun project that we did at Club this week. I actually made one similar in a stamp camp that I attended while in Salt Lake City for Convention.
The Christmas card is one we did at Shannon's workshop last weekend. Everyone got their hands on the Big Shot. I think that everyone who has used the Big Shot are amazed at how easy it is to use. Want to get YOUR hands on it? Let me know and we can get together.

The fall item that you see here is actually using the bottom part of a lunch bag so this opens up. Ron took the pictures for the post today for me and only took front views.

This is one of my favorites that I've done. A friend, Amy, had a baby boy, Mason, and I made this using some of our On-Board chipboard, a scrapbooking kit, the stamp set called Zoofari and various other embellishments that Stampin' Up! carries. Things like this are so much fun because once you start making one, the ideas and possibilities come to you like crazy! I was late getting this to Amy and I hope she has received it before seeing it here. lol

Happy Stampin' and Scrappin' All!

Stampin' Up! Online Ordering....

is up and running. To browse our product, click here. Be one of the first five people to order from me online and receive a special gift from me. :) You can still place orders from me in person, by phone or e-mail but Stampin' Up! gives everyone now the ease to place an order 24/7.

Now a word from your bloggin' stampin' demonstrator. lol Just thought I'd brighten the page a little more with one of the latest pics of Scout and Pace. lol I've had to put my order in to have them on Saturday's now because I need my "fix". This was taken a couple of weeks ago. The water level was much higher in the pool but they decided to take our watering can and water the flowers, the plum tree and the pine tree in the yard. I've seen the kids a whole lot lately along with baby brother Trig when he is not sleeping. lol I'm soooo blessed to have an awesome daughter-in-law who is a great mom and an awesome wife to my son. Thank you Erin for all you do!
Thank you everyone for stopping by!!

Club Interest?!

Hi stampin' friends. :) If you have an interest in being a member of a group of stampers who meet once a month, do really cool projects, learn new techniques and have a whole lot of fun, contact me right away. We have a group of women who want to be club members and there are several spots open. We'll have a meeting to discuss when it will be convenient to meet monthly and will work out other details. Projects and cards are things that you would not normally see at a workshop but stampers of all skills can do them.

If you are interested, please contact me right away as it will be starting soon.

Thank you for stopping by.

More Convention samples and ideas....

On the left side of this pic is something I received in a swap. Unfortunately, there was no name on it to recognize the creator of it. It is using a small brown paper bag and some of our designer series paper. On the right is something pretty cool that we did at a stamp camp. It is a piece of designer series paper, folded a certain way and the flap gets tucked to keep it closed.

Challenged? Yes I am when it comes to posting some pics to my blog. lol When I went to load this picture, it was straight but now appears on its side. This happened twice. This is the folded designer series paper opened which reveals some layered card stock for a surface to write a note on.

The floral card is a card I received as a swap and the picture does not do it justice. It is embossed and is beautiful. The card with the butterfly on was one I did in a shoebox swap and the creator of this card, Molly, is now a good friend of mine. Molly is from Ohio and we hit it off from the start. We are still corresponding by phone and e-mail and I just LOVE her!!! This was Molly's first Convention too.

Oops I did it again. lol Rather than spend a whole lot of time on straightening my pics, I've decided to go ahead and post them because I'm long over due. The crimping on the card with the diamond shaped center is soooooooo cool. The crimping is done in two different directions, creating a really nice effect. It is a card front that I received in a swap. The card with the pine trees is using Lovely As A Tree. It is on page 106 of our catalog. Molly made this card for a swap. Who woulda thought to use THESE colors?! Beautiful!

The card using Embrace Life is using a technique that I'll be sure to demo and probably use at Club. It's faux silk. This one I received while swapping.

The item on the far left is made using all of our product and something that we did at a stamp camp at Convention. When closed and tied with the ribbon in a bow, it looks like a cute little box. Untie the ribbon and the top folds open like you see in the picture and there is a drawer that you can put a small gift or a gift card, etc. This will surely be something that we'll be doing in Club real soon. The middle item is the outside of something that I received in a swap and the inside is pictured below. To the right in the picture is a single flavored drink packet that you add to a bottle of water. You place this over a bottle of water. How cool is that?!

When I made the decision to attend Convention this year, I decided to register for some events that other demonstrators were offering for attendees. What you see on the left with the monogram, R, is a card holder, note card and envelope that we did. I never even thought twice about this alphabet set before this stamp camp. Now! What an awesome alphabet to use for monogramming any item. The item on the right was something I received in a swap. For the front, you'll be able to see it in another pic.
