Convention 12x12 Scrapbook Layout Swap

This is what I worked on over the weekend when we got together. We had sooo much fun stampin' and chattin'. :) I think a good time was had by all! I just have a little bit of cutting left for this and assembling and then this swap is done! Two more swaps to do and then I'm good to go! Salt Lake City here we come!!!!

This is what we did at Club this week! Nice card, huh? The template is from Sandy McIver, another demonstrator. She shares wonderful things with lots of us! Thank you Sandy. :) The item on the right is actually a picture holder. Mine will be going on my desk at work for quick notes. We used my favorite stamp set going right now! Greenhouse Garden. Actually, both were made using this set. :)

These are the types of things we do for Clubs. Interested in joining a Club? How about the first Thursday of each month here at 6:30?! Let me know. Just need a couple more!

Random pics and Open House...

Bear with me here because I have lots to write on today. lol :)

Yesterday at Open House, I held a special drawing. hehehe. I had a drawing for a new In Color stamp pad, Rich Razzleberry, for anyone who is a frequent blog visitor that could mention anything, in particular about my blog. The name drawn was Joanna! She even gets the pretty polka-dot ribbon to match! See! It pays to visit my blog once in a while. :) She mentioned links that I have on the left side, how I post pics of my grandchildren and of samples of cards. Yay Joanna! :)

Open House attendees had the opportunity to embellish boxes using the Big Shot. Here are a few. It was fun!!! This was my FAVORITE designer series paper from the just-retired catalog. I have my favorites already for the current. Do you?

Here are some cards that I have on display in the Renessance Room. :) Two are from the swap from Ballston Spa and one is a make-and-take we did there. One is a card from my friend, Elisa. :)

Here is our cat, Doc, sittin' pretty on MY chair! If I'm in here (the Renessance Room) for any length of time warming up the chair and I get up, he will take it over. lol

Now forming a club for the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m to start September 3. If interested, please contact me for more details. Need seven members in total!

How Sweet Is This?!

This is a box made with two envelopes using the Big Shot. Although the designer series paper that I used has retired, it still makes a nice box. All of the paper is double-sided and the embellishments, other than the half pearl from the Pretties Kit, are also made using dies and the Big Shot. Guess what!!

Come to Open House this Saturday where you'll get a box and you'll be able to embellish it using my Big Shot. I'll help you every step of the way. So fun and easy!

This box is similar to one we did as a make-and-take last Sunday! So much fun!

New Catalog Arrival!!

Yes, the time has come! Are you ready to see the new catalog?! I cannot even tell you how excited I am about this one! My clubs are too! Being Renessance Club members, they've already have their copies. I'm placing a personal order this evening, not wanting to wait any longer and today is the first day! lol Of course as a demonstrator, Stampin' Up! gives up an opportunity to order some product and stamp sets ahead of time but now we have the entire catalog right before us to order from. lol You can too!!!
