See What $10 Got You If You Attended the eScape Event on Wednesday Night?!

The event was $10 and everyone who attended made each of these cards! There were lots of door prizes and I think it would be safe to bet that everyone had a good time. A registration and prepay were necessary for this event because the Renessance Stampers needed to cut cardstock and make sure all of the materials were supplied. If you couldn't make it to this stamp camp, maybe next time!

Cake!

Laurie was the hostess for this month's Club. She just finished cake decorating classes and she brought this for all of us. The S is for Stampin' Up! Boy, was the cake delicious! The beautiful flower on top was edible too.

Want to be in a club to start in August?

A whole lot of fun going on. This was Club last week. We meet once a month and we all learn something new. lol I soooo enjoy Club because it gives ME the opportunity to sit and have fun along with everyone else. This Club is already half over. :( Each month, someone new is a hostess and gets all of the benefits.

Can you say "texture?"

This was a lot of fun and EASY to do. I call it a computer password holder. The inside has pockets, using our envelopes that I sealed and cut in half. At this time, there is no stamping on this at all but it is using all of our products. Some of you probably recognize the Polished Stone technique used on this but the picture on the bottom has texture. Because when doing this technique you need to use silver or gold Encore refill, there is a pigment in it that will take some time to dry. The picture on top was wiped dry with a paper towel because I didn't want to wait and didn't want it get on anything else. For the piece on the bottom, I put Glassy Glaze Embossing Powder on it and it grabbed the powder wherever it was wet and then I heat embossed it. It gives it a new look and you can almost feel the texture by even just looking at it here! Polished Stone is Ron's favorite technique to do. :)

Club tonight...

will be making this nice box! If you're a member of Club, you've gotten a sneak peek at one of the things you'll be doing tonight. I've asked all members ahead of time to bring their own scissors, adhesive and paper trimmer. This box pattern and instructions is something I got from a fellow demonstrator, Linda Heller. She is awesome with ideas, hints, etc.
I'm working on another project for this evening but won't be posting that today. Hey, I want to keep Club members in suspense at some level. hehehe......

SU NEWS!

Well, yesterday an announcement was made by Shelli Gardner. As a demonstrator, I had known for over a week that a big announcement was forthcoming. I was working the polls yesterday so I was not able to stay glued to this monitor to download the audio BUT I was well informed with text messages by a couple of fellow friends/demos. ;) Stampin' Up! is now going to be carrying vinyl lettering and characters that coordinate with our stamp sets. They will be available in two colors, Chocolate and I think White. What a great move on Stampin' Up!s part to better allow demonstrators and customers to express themselves! Today I will actually get to see a brochure and order product from this new line! Whoohoo!!!! Go SU!

RetiringStamp Set List

Well, here is the retiring stamp set list. Are any of YOUR favorite stamp sets on it? If you have a favorite on that list and you don't already have it, now is the time to do it. These sets will NOT be available after August 10.

Anticipation is keeping me waiting....

Can you hear it? The tune of that song? I keep hearing it. Wanna know why? The release of the list to demonstrators of the retiring stamp sets is only a few hours away! I've got lots of guesses as to what sets will be on it but ya just never know! I might even set my alarm clock! Do you have any guesses? Let me know.

Stay tuned for details on an upcoming retirement party. It will feature retiring sets that I have so that you can see what you can do with some of the sets before they retire. Got a stamp set in the catalog that you've just wanted soooo badly but have held back on ordering it? If it's on this list, order it before August 10 or you'll lose your chance of owning it.

eScape Stamp Camp Sample

What do you think? :) This is a notecard from the preorder that you can purchase now. It coordinates beautifully with the Fresh Cuts stamp set. This is one card that will be done at the eScape Stamp Camp on Wednesday, June 25, at 6:00 here in Ilion. Space is limited so contact me for more details.

What really makes this event neat is that I am one of five demonstrators who are involved in this event, each using a different stamp, color combination, flare for creativity!

Just thought I'd give a sneak peek at a card. No more peeks! Come and see for yourself!

Blessed

Yesterday, a lot of you knew was a big day in my life. It marked my 50th birthday. It also marked our 17th wedding anniversary. I received beautiful cards and gifts from my upline, downline and many friends who knew. lol Also, a big thanks, or NOT, to my darling husband, Ron, who even helped spread the word via, TV, radio and e-mails. lol

I do feel so blessed for the many friendships that have developed and each one is very special to me. Thank you so much to all of you for your friendships and kindness that have always shown through. Ron would like to apologize to anyone he might have missed for a little surprise party. :( He had taken advantage of a quick opportunity to grab e-mails from my address book when I was gone for a quick jaunt to the store one day.

Again, thank you all for your friendships and may we have many more fun times and laughs in the future.

Club!

Interested in being in a club? A new club will be started in August after the new catalog is released. Club members receive a new catalog and we meet monthly on an evening that is convenient for everyone. Ideally ten members needed. With a ten-member club, only a purchase of $15 in merchandise a month is required. Each member will have their turn at being a hostess to benefit from free stamps and merchandise. E-mail me with interest.

It's a great way to learn new techniques and do things that are not normally done at a workshop. It is also a relaxing evening with fellow stampers and even I get to stamp!

Quick Creations

I sat and stamped for a little while last night. The picture is a little blurry. This, again, is using the new Fresh Cuts stamp set that customers can purchase this month and it will be in the new catalog. Everyone has the opportunity now to purchase it. More details are posted in a previous post below.

Here I go again. lol That bird stamp set was calling me again. I stamped the images on the card stock and then stamped them again on designer series paper and then cut them out, adhering them over the stamped images on the card stock with Stampin' Dimensionals. It gives it a nice 3D appearance but not real apparent in this picture. Raindrops were made using Crystal Effects.

Now this set! My closet stamper asked me to order this for him but he has YET to use it so I beat him to it. Now since he has seen this sample, he is wanting to use it. The vase was stamped on another piece of cardstock, cut out, edged and raised with Stampin' Dimensionals.

So Thankful...

to my Stampin' Up! daughters. Love, love, love them! They presented me last night at a meeting that we held for an upcoming stampin' event with a cake and a Pandora bracelet with a lighthouse charm and spacer. Yes, there is a birthday on the horizon and it marks a milestone. lol I was soooo surprised and touched by this. I've wanted one of these for some time!

Thank you Kim, Sandy, Elisa and Sarah for being a big part of my life!

Now Available!!

Fresh Cuts stamp set and Notecards with envelopes are now available to purchase! In an earlier post, I posted a couple of samples using the stamp set and notecards. I love this set.
