Decor Elements...

...Thoughts and Prayers Tree!

Yesterday was the day I put the large chocolate tree up on my large livingroom wall. I love it! I do wish I placed the tree a little differently though, to the left a little more and down, but am still very pleased with it, overall. I'm soooooo loving the Decor Elements. You will too!!!

See what I mean?! It was fun and actually easy. This being somewhat big to do, was put up in sections but they were already separated. All I needed to do was just cut the sections apart. The directions were very easy. I had been wanting to purchase them and when several customers ordered them, I figured I better jump on the wagon and just DO it!! So glad I did. I'll help them out if they need it. These Decor Elements are almost like my other addiction. STAMPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doctor's Appreciation Day Tomorrow

My department at work asked me to make a card for the pathologists for everyone to sign in the department. Knowing how many people work in the department, I knew the card couldn't be standard sized so I used a 12x12 piece of paper from the Sale-A-Bration packet and lined it with Bashful Blue 12x12 cardstock to make it look pretty, having that color in the SAB paper and also to make the card a little more sturdy. I got out my Big Shot and started pulling out my dies. Here is the card that I came up with in no time!

It was so easy and soooo much fun. The Big Shot honestly does all of the work! The butterfly, again, like in a previous post is from a Level 1 hostess set. Very easy to do. The edge of the card was done using our new punch!
Would you like to do a card similar to this? Contact me and we can do it at your workshop!

It's A Big Shot World Stamp Camp Cards

If you didn't attend this stamp camp today, this is what you missed. :(
This was so much fun. Gotta luv that Big Shot. How about that quilted look on the third card?! That is using 1 1/4 inch square punched pieces from the package of Designer Series Paper in the Sale-A-Bration mini. The card on the left is also using that paper. Don't have your packet yet? Do you realize you only have THREE days left?!!!! It's only available for Sale-A-Bration. Purchase $50 in product and choose a SAB item from the mini FREE. Do you also realize that if you order online through my website in the next three days you also get a free Stampin' Up! catalog (value $9.95).

Thanks for stopping by on a sunny, beautiful spring day in Central New York State (finally!),

I've been published...

in our local paper, The Evening Telegram. It was a lot of fun. Although they spelled my name wrong, Renee Cliver, instead of Rene' Clive, it was still a good article. They went on to talk about the history of rubberstamping. The woman that I was watching, I ended up knowing from a while back because we worked together. I brought lots of samples and sat with the ladies and had fun right along with them. We made two cards and they even embossed. I'll post the cards a little later in the week. It's off to bed I go. Today is my Monday for work and I'm beat!

Good Morning!

If you missed the Sale-A-Bration stamp camp yesterday, you missed making these cards.

We had so much fun. It was also a great place to have the stamp camp, great lighting, we could spread out and it was a great location! Thank you to Sue and John Kelly for allowing us to use the church along with Faith In Christ Fellowship Church. :)
The cards above were done using Sale-A-Bration sets, other than the butterfly from God's Beauty in a Level 1 hostess set and Birthday Wishes in Sincere Salutations. The card on the left was done using only In Colors! Each piece was sponged with Creamy Caramel Ink to give it a distressed or vintage look and I left the bottom part of my card blank for future use. I leave most of my cards blank as far as a greeting and stamp them as I need them. For this card, the ladies could use whatever In Colors they wanted, combinations, stamps, punches they wanted. It was nice to see THEIR combinations. There is no right way or wrong way of stamping. Having fun is the important thing and THAT we did!
Thanks for stopping by ladies. Have a great day!

Club last night...

involved making this.

The butterfly was stamped on our Glossy Cardstock with Jet Black StazOn Ink and the leaves were stamped with Old Olive. The flowers were stamped with Ruby Red. The stamps just mentioned are from the set, "God's Beauty" which is a Level 1 hostess set, free to anyone with at least $150 in total merchandise sales! The butterfly was colored using Summer Sun Stampin' Marker and sponged with Pumpkin Pie ink then cut out and placed on the box. The stamp and the scalloped oval punch is in the Occasions mini catalog which you can actually preorder from now!!! If you untie the Night of Navy ribbon, the box actually has a cover that opens like a book and you can stamp a greeting or verse in there. This makes a nice box to put a small gift in, some candy, a gift card or even use as a shower/party favor. To order from the new mini or to view it, contact me!

Imagine!

Today is Tuesday and I'm posting! lol I've been playing and getting ready for tomorrow night's Club. I've been anxiously awaiting a few minutes of time so that I could play with the Textured Impressions Manhattan Flower embossing folder. Tonight was the night! First I thought about the color I wanted to use with it. Hmmm...... Baja Breeze! Then... To run everything through the Big Shot like the instructions tell you and then I ended up with this after minimal embellishing! Don't ya just love it?!
Off to bed I go. Tomorrow morning comes awful early, 4:30 a.m. that is. Thanks for stopping by. Sweet dreams.......

Newest Projects :)

These are some of the latest that I've done. The top card is using a hostess level 1. This means you can have this stamp set FREE if you hold a workshop totally at least $150 in merchandise! How attainable is that?! I also used the Big Shot and our newest, biggest oval punch to layer behind the pink flower that was made using the Big Shot. The pretty pink print paper with the scalloping is done from Raspberry Tart designer series paper and using the Scallop Edge Punch.
We did a post-it note holder for our keyrings at club last month and embellished using the Pretties Kit. This was a lot of fun and the Crop-A-Dile punched through the paper very easily. The bottom card was done using Watercolor Crayons directly on the stamps, spritzed with water and then stamped directly onto Naturals Ivory cardstock. You have to let the stamp sit on the paper a few seconds to let the water absorb into the paper. Very cool technique and effect! What makes it really nice is that the Watercolor Crayons are so much more affordable, being sold in families rather than having to buy the entire set of crayons like when they first came out! Love, love, love them!!!!
