3D Wallet -- Stamp Camp

Interested in making this? It's a neat wallet with three fold out pieces that include a cardstock insert.

This is a nice accessory to hold favorite pictures and you can journal, too.

This stamp camp will be taking place on Wednesday, February 20, at 6:00. The charge is $6.00 and RSVP with prepay is needed no later than Monday, February 11, because I'll have to order product.

There is a class limit so sign up now. If needed a second date will be added for all who didn't make it into the first slot.

This is the inside of the wallet. A belly band holds the wallet closed that can be slipped off either end. I really wanted to take advantage of using Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava, Blue Sky and River Rock because they are five of the six In Colors that will only be available until the end of June!

Also, don't forget the Stamp Club that is starting February 13. Sign up now!

If you want more details on either of the above, contact me. :)

How Cute!

This is something I received from Amy in the mail. What a nice idea.
The bookmark has a nice little verse stamped on the back and this fits into the pocket.
Thank you Amy! :)

Wanted!!!

Stampers to join a Stamp Club!!! We meet once a month and will stamp a couple of cards, do a 3D item or a scrapbook page. If you're interested in joining, contact me and I'll give you more details! Fun is guaranteed and fresh ideas each month.

Updated Bag-A-Lope

How about this for an awesome idea! Remember making Bag-A-Lopes using envelopes? This was something they showed us at Leadership. They suggested taking a box such as a check box and basically wrapping it like a gift but at one end with designer series paper. You can score/fold down the top edge for a nice look, too. Embellish it as desired with ribbon, brads, tags, etc.!!! Possibilities galore!!

Upcoming Occasions Mini Preview

Can you tell I've been putting aside some time for stampin' from my typing! This is a Japanese lantern that they showed us how to do at Leadership. I decided to use DSP from the upcoming Occasions mini collection that will be available for customers to purchase from, March 1 - May 31. I also used a set from there called Tart & Tangy.

How cute is this?!

The stamp set used here is Infinite Goodness which is a Level 2 hostess set. There is also something extra added to this card. Can you see what it is?

Imagine the possibilities!!!!!

Nice job, huh? Ron did most of this card. There are a couple of techniques used for this card and also our Pretties Kit. The background is the "polished stone" technique.

This is a Level 1 Hostess Set!!!! I basically copied it from the catalog, tweaking it just a little. A rub-on was used for the wording.

This is a new set and using some of our new glitter. You really can't appreciate the beauty of this unless actually seen.

After Leadership playing!

This is something that I decorated and gave to Kelly who I traveled with for Leadership. It is a glass jar that I picked up in Philadelphia in September and used paper from Cutie Pie which is one of my favorites for DSP (Designer Series Paper). On the outside of the glass, I used some of our new Rub-Ons. This was so easy and fun to do.

Another one of the gazillion reasons why I love SU!

As a demonstrator, I can go to the demonstrator part of the Stampin' Up! website and see daily updates, samples, ideas, etc. This morning when I visited my site this was posted.

Shelli surprised members of the Utah National Guard with a special gift--a cruise to Bermuda! 85 members of the Utah National Guard and their guests will be joining many of our Stampin' Up! demonstrators on our annual cruise this year, as a thank you for the service they render to our country.
Now, how awesome is that?! When I attended Leadership last week, I saw Shelli like I've never seen her before. She really is all about family and speaks from her heart. I could only hope that all stampers would have the opportunity to see Shelli first-hand and see how genuine she is. She also has a wonderful sense of humor, unscripted.

Sometimes I'm just soooo challenged.

You've probably noticed that when clicking on my blog, some of the pictures are missing. Well, I did some playing with pictures and created Web Albums for my downline and in doing this, I think I deleted a lot of my pictures. :( That's okay. I still have lots of pictures to be posted like this one. I probably won't delete any more pics from my blog, having learned a lesson. This picture was one of the last that I took leaving California as we were driving to the airport on Ontario, California. Doesn't it look like a canvas backdrop? We kept wanting to go and "touch" the mountains because they just didn't look real!

Palm Springs, California - Leadership 2008

Well, we are back from Palm Springs. What a wonderful journey. Can you imagine waking to this every morning? We did! What a breathtaking view. We were surrounded by mountain upon mountain with the distant peaks covered with snow. The temperature was about 70 every day!

Yes, we did stamp and learn some awesome things. lol And, of course, I'll be sharing some great projects and cards with you. We arrived back in town at about 3:00 this morning and I'm functioning right now on about 3 1/2 hours of sleep. I'll be sharing more pics with you but need to get some of my typing done. I cannot wait until my next event, probably Convention 2008 which will be one HUGE celebration. It will be Stampin' Up!'s 20th anniversary. There will be a whole lot of excitement and stampin' going on! Want to join me? Let me know!!!! The more the merrier!
