Although this pic was not taken recently, this very well could be one of the frequent visitors to our suet feeder. Every day we see at least one woodpecker. This is a female Downy woodpecker. If it were a male, you'd see a red patch on the back of its head. We feed the birds throughout the year but have noticed we haven't seen one of Ron's favorites in some time. We normally see two different kind of nuthatches but have only seen one. While Ron is out and about for work during the day, he keeps a mental note of the birds he sees and he has already seen juncos! We've already associated these birds with winter or colder weather. Oh yeah. It's snowing as I'm typing right now. We just have a scant covering of a wet dusting this morning contrary to early reports saying that we could have a pretty good accummulation. That certainly makes me feel better still driving a rental car from the accident almost three weeks ago. The parts were supposed to come in yesterday for our vehicle and Ron was hoping that maybe we'd have it back this week.

Have a StAmP HaPpY DaY!!!

Lovely!!! lol This is done with Lovely as a Tree. A card created by Ron, with HIS stamp set. lol I have to always remember that. lol He did a great job, all on his own. He did use two of MY stamp sets though, Canvas Background and a Hostess Level 1 stamp set. I love how he distressed the tag. I even love it more that he has learned to cut his own cardstock for his cards. lol

This card was recently done at a workshop. It is using Ridinghood Red which is a new In Color and Tangerine Tango, another In Color. The large oval punch was used to make the pumpkin and then sponged Really Rust Classic Ink. Yup. I used the Big Shot again. That's the piece of Very Vanilla cardstock behind the pumpkin. The speckles that can be seen were done using the Air Tool and Close to Cocoa Stampin' Write Marker. Gotta luv it!

Christmas is coming, the goose is getting ........... lalalala... lol This picture doesn't do this card justice. The set I used is Snow Swirled and the Not Quite Navy cardstock is actually popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals. The "window" that is showcasing the wording is our largest oval punch that we carry now. This is a very quick and easy card to make, using only two inks, Whisper White Craft and Rose Red Classic. Also used is the Ticket Corner punch. Do you have your Christmas cards planned yet? Need help with ideas? Want free merchandise to get started? Contact me to book your workshop now. It's not too early to get started on your holiday cards. Stay tuned for more things soon to be posted. :)

Hellooooooooooooo.....

If you've wondered why I haven't posted lately, it's been quite the two weeks. Last week, I was involved in an accident and sustained major damage to my vehicle. I've been extremely sore and have had aches and pains in places I never knew I had! I'm feeling much, much better now. THEN!!!! Not even a week later, on Club night, Ron called me while all my Club members were here and informed me that HE was in an accident with the rental car! Thankfully, no one was hurt badly in either accident and I'm now driving a second rental car. This past week, we have done NO unnecessary travel. I think everyone would understand. lol I'm taking it easy this weekend, have a workshop tomorrow to do for Teresa but will be stampin' every moment I can. Stay tuned because I'll be posting new things this weekend. :)

World Card Making Day!!

This is what we did today for the stamp camp. The item in the back of the picture is a folder that holds cards and we used a lot of the new In Colors! How 'bout that Kiwi Kiss?! lol We also used the Big Shot quite a bit. I think a good time was had by all. I know I sure had a lot of fun. You all know I'm doing what I love. :)

This is a better picture of the card that is laying down. You KNOW how I love my birds! lol

Thanks for stopping by. Join us next time!

Happy Fall Y'all!!

This is my favorite time of year. :) It's also the time of year that I really love to use colors from Earth Elements. This is one of the color family's that Stampin' Up! has.

These are some of the latest things I've done. The turkey card was actually copied from our demonstrator publication, Stampin' Success, that we receive each month. Each issue offers great samples and suggestions to help us, as demonstrators with our business. See how easy they make it for us? Don't forget the $99 special for starter kits at this time. The offer is only good until October 11!!!

Duffy's first grooming....

was done on Monday at PetSmart by Kilty who is a friend/stamper. He actually looked fluffier on Monday which is when I meant to take a picture of him but got busy. Yesterday and today, I've been home from work. :( I was sick ALL day yesterday and today my body hurts everywhere but I'm feeling much better after taking a shower and having a little bit of nourishment.

Kilty, I'll be setting up another appointment for Duffy soon. I really didn't think it was the same puppy I dropped off. lol You did a good job and I think Duffy really likes you. ;)

Thanks for stopping by.
