Christmas Eve 2007

What a wonderful time we had last night. We had friends and family here and we had lots of fun with Pace and Scout. He is such a gentle little man. :) I cannot get enough of him or sister, Scout. He really didn't pay too much attention with the unwrapping of his gifts but Scout, on the other hand, loved opening and playing with everything. She is opening a tea set from My Little Pony that RaeRae got her for Christmas and that was a big hit with her. We were even pretending to have tea and food. She was sooo cute. Pace seemed to really like some wood-looking building blocks (made of foam) and a John Deere push/pull toy that pulls farm animals.

We got some wonderful gifts from Casey and Erin but an extra special one that will deliver in about seven months! Yup! Grandparents to a third little one. The more, the merrier. This will be new for Erin because this will be a summer baby.

When I attend Leadership in Palm Springs, California, in two weeks, I will be swapping in a 3D WOW swap, an item that was really inspired by having our three blessings. I'm not posting pictures of it yet because I'm anxious to have it at workshops in the next few months along with all of the rest of my swaps that I will be bringing back with me! This 3D item is soooo cool, fun to make and the possibilities are endless!

Merry Christmas to everyone and may you all have a healthy and happy new year!

New Catalog

This is it! This is the new Spring-Summer 2008 Catalog! Isn't it pretty? Wait until you see what's inside! Do you love flowers? Verses? Ribbon? Embellishments? :) Guess what! They're in here.

Stay tuned for an announcement about my Open House to take place next month. Catalogs will be on hand along with my date book. Anyone can even contact me now to book a workshop. It would be very wise to do so.

If you're wondering about when might be a good time, I'll explain. For the month of January, host a workshop of at least $350 in merchandise and choose one of the sets shown in the Spring-Summer Preview 2008 brochure. There is one in there valued at $29.95! This is in addition to the benefits listed in the front of the Stampin' Up! catalog.

If SaLe-A-bRaTiOn appeals to you more, you might already know that for every $50 a customer spends they can choose a free set from the Sale-A-Bration mini catalog. As a hostess, for every $300 in merchandise, you can choose a free set from the Sale-A-Bration mini catalog. Again, this is in addition to the wonderful benefits that Stampin' Up! offers their hostesses!

Okay. I DID have my demo copy of the catalog. I felt sooooo bad for Kim because she hadn't received her catalog so I let her BORROW my catalog. She is leaving town for a few days. Maybe I'll let her take it with her if she doesn't receive her copy today. Maybe I'll hunt her down! lol We've already discussed ideas with new product and stamps! We cannot wait to share with everyone!

In the meantime, I have to finish making Christmas cards and I think I already know what I'm going to be making for a 3D project for a swap that I will be participating in. Oh!!! Have I mentioned that I'm going to Palm Springs, CA?!!!!! This is for Leadership next month and I am soooooo excited. Average temperature now is 60 degrees. I asked Ron last night if that meant I won't need to take my turtlenecks. He had some kind of a comment, I won't repeat it. lol

I made this gift for Shannon, a new mom, who has been a hostess of mine a couple of times this year. She has a baby girl, Margaret, but they call her Maggie. She is soooooooo cute! It was a lot of fun making this and I love the background paper. It is part of Cutie Pie which is soooo pretty. It is just one package of our Designer Series Paper. The animals that are featured on this are from the stamp set, Zoofari. The letters that I stamped are from the Letterpress Alphabet stamp set which is retiring!

Don't forget!!! The retiring list is only available to purchase from until the end of the month. If you have anything on your wish list, make sure you tell Santa!! Tomorrow is the last day to place orders to have delivery in time for Christmas!!!

Check out this sweet deal! It's a great time to hostess a workshop, too! This deal is only good for the month of January. Earn free stamps and merchandise by hostessing a workshop. You can go to the Stampin' Up! website and see the specials that are going on now!!! Don't miss out on some great deals!

Flurry of Feathered Friends

I've seen soooo much activity at my bird feeders this morning. They are even visiting our new feeder that a friend built for us. We've always been able to tell when there is going to be a change in the weather because we get lots of activity like this. Hmmmm...... have you heard the forecast?!

Becoming a Demonstrator

Have you ever thought about having extra income, making your own schedule and having lots of fun?! If you purchase a starter kit this month, you'll receive eight current catalogs and eight of the new Spring-Summer 2008 catalog. You'll have time to prepare, make samples and plan because you won't have to attain your first quarterly until the end of March! With the upcoming promotions, that would be easily attainable! The starter kit is $199 and is valued at $355! If you've been a stamper for some time and have a lot of supplies, you do have options with choosing product.

If you're thinking about this and have any questions, contact me! I can assure you, you'd be joining a great team!

Hostessing a Workshop

If you've never hostessed a workshop, ask someone who has! There are lots of benefits when hostessing. First, you get a catalog (valued at $9.95). Merchandise sales determine what hostess stamp set/sets you can choose from along with the amount of free merchandise. These are benefits from Stampin' Up! From me, you'll receive a special little something. :)

For the month of January, if you hostess a workshop of at least $350 in merchandise, you get to choose a free stamp set shown in the Spring-Summer Preview 2008! There are some really nice sets in there. If you are interested in hostessing a workshop for January and have not received a preview brochure in the next week or two, contact me and I'll get one to you.

Sale-A-Bration will be held February and March, 2008. Many of you know this is a great time for hostessing a workshop. For every $50 a customer spends, they get to choose a free stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

These are wonderful reasons to hostess a workshop. That isn't even including the fun!

Retired List --- Stamp Sets Available Only Until The End Of December

The retired stamp set list has been released. There are some really nice sets on this list that are leaving and will not be available to purchase after December. If you cannot view it or have not received it from me, let me know. Some of these sets are too good to miss out on!
