I Have A Whole Lot To Share With You!!!!

Okay now. Where do I start?! I received this card on Friday from Mary Jo Price-Williams, a fellow demonstrator. After a week of work and finishing physical therapy, I came home to this RAK (Random Act of Kindness). What a nice surprise, huh? No Friday was not my birthday but Mary Jo IS aware that it is lurking very near. hehehe. Hence, the special that you'll be reading further down below. Uh-oh. No looking ahead. Take your time and enjoy the cards and the posts. After all, it has been some time, right? :)

The card above was made by Shelly, a fellow demonstrator who sent it to me. I love this card! She did a really cool thing on it as far as a technique that I had never done before! She stamped the flowers from Fifth Avenue Floral and then she traced the outline using Blender Pens with the same color ink. I love the look!

This is one two-page 12x12 layout of mine from the stamp camp from a few weeks ago. Of course, I used pics of the grandkids. I'm really please with the way it came out.

This is what is called a tri-shutter card. We did this at a club night. When everyone saw my card, they thought it was going to be very complicated. I had already scored and cut the cards for them and included a print-out sheet for everyone. Don't you love the way it opens? It actually is not as complicated as it looks.

Some of you have done this type of card already. It is a fun card to do. We did this card last month at Technique Tuesday. The background of this card was done with Glossy Paper, baby wipes, and ink refills. We also did a technique using shaving cream. We used the Big Shot also for this card. The ladies that came stamped a greeting or salutation of their choice and then adhered it to the top of the card. The butterfly actually spins when you tip the card.

Today I did a workshop for a repeat hostess, Theresa. :) She asked that we do a graduation card. Well, I don't have a graduation-specific stamp set so I thought I would improvise and this is what I came up with. It was a very quick and easy card. Each guest was actually allowed to choose their choice of ink colors. I did a card for an Ilion graduate because we've already received an invite. Ilion colors are gold and brown so I used Chocolate Chip and So Saffron, sponging the ink on to the flowers that were actually Whisper White cardstock, run through the Big Shot with a die. Some of the guests had no graduations expected to go to so they decided to make another type of card like a birthday card. It was cool to see the different combinations each guest came up with.

How long did you think I would go without a card with a bird on it?! lol The bird was done with the same technique as above, like Shelly had done. :) Thanks Shelly! I also think that the button off-sets the card nicely.
Now that you've gone through the details on the cards and scrapbook layout, now RUN to the next post! Don't miss a single detail! Pay close attention.
First and foremost, I need to apologize for not posting much sooner than this. Life, again, has gotten in the way. I've been busy with work, family and physical therapy. Also, we had somewhat of a scare a few weeks back. Scout got hit in the head with a softball while at a softball tournament, was rushed to the hospital by ambulance where they found she had two bruises on her brain and she was admitted for observation. Thank God she is fine now with no after-effects.

Now for some announcements!!!! This week, I'm holding a SPECIAL!!!!! Free SHIPPING & HANDLING for orders placed with me by either phoning me or calling me and payments have to be received no later than Friday! These orders will be sent to me and if I'm not able to deliver to you, you'll need to make arrangements to pick up from me.

No dancing today on the schedule but a full day tomorrow for Emily. Ron says my Schnoodle (Jericho) misses me. :( I'm sure Duffy is happy because he is soooo attached to Ron.

I am so Blessed...

... in many ways. :) One way is to be part of a wonderful group called, Latenightstampers. Many of you have noticed a link at the bottom of my e-mails or heard me talk about this wonderful woman, Sherrill Graff. Well, she is the mom of this group. I met Sherrill a couple of years ago in Palm Springs, California, during Leadership and participated again last year at Convention in some of her stamp camps. A lot of the things that you've seen me do or talk about are from this awesome group.

Again this year, I will see Sherrill and will be participating in some of the things that this wonderful group of fellow demonstrators do! Guess what!! I get to bring them all back and share them with all of you!! :) That's what it's all about. How cool is that?! Check out Sherrill's blog when you get a chance. You'll be glad you did!!

Thanks for stopping by,

Day before Easter...

Here is Trig in his mom's arms, looking at me, Nonny. lol Oh my! He looks soooo much like his mom. How could I possibly post one grandchild's pic without the others?! lol
Here is Scout, the big sister of both Trig and Pace. She is like a little mommy to them. She is so grown up. She will talk to Pace with her hands on her hips and speak from her heart. She will play rough and tough with her daddy and brother, Pace, but oooohhhhh she loves to act like a little lady too. lol

Being two years old now, I thought Pace wouldn't get into the Easter egg hunt so much. I thought he'd just kind of watch Scout but he kept right up with her. Here he had just taken some stickers out of one of the eggs he found. It was a lot of fun. What a good grandma I was. I didn't fill them up with chocolate and lots of candy. I did stickers and animal crackers and gave them coloring books, crayons and little boxes with netting on so they can put bugs and critters in when they catch them. I put their mommy appreciates that! lol

Happy Easter...

Scout, Pace and Trig were over yesterday for a wonderful day to include an Easter egg hunt, a walk to the park and some great fun.

Today, is a great day to really think about the true meaning of Easter and the significance of the great sacrifice that was made for us!

Blessings to all of you on this beautiful Sunday Easter morning...

Club this week

Wednesday for Club, we did a card and we did an Easter basket. I forgot to get a picture of the card but it was a quilted card, similar to the one from an earlier post. The baskets were made using the Big Shot. Of course!!! It was using the scalloped envelope die and our new punch for on the handle. I made these baskets last night for coworkers and brought them in today. They loved them. The empty one is mine. lol Although one basket appears to be missing a tag, the basket is turned around in the picture.

They were fun and easy to make. I used 12x12 designer series paper that I had along with a piece of matching cardstock for the handle. The scalloped edging on the handle is from the new handle that we carry. The scalloped oval punch was used to punch around the greeting.

Nonny & Trig

Monday I watched Trig for a few hours. He wasn't feeling very well so he needed some one-on-one time and Nonny was at the ready. :) Erin took him to the doctor to find that he is teething, cutting his first and second teeth.

Yesterday, I came home from work after a few hours and called in sick today because of the horrible stomach bug. :( I'm feeling better now and will be back to work tomorrow. Hooray the weekend is around the corner and that means stamping. Keep an eye on my Events Calendar for upcoming stamp camps. You won't want to miss them.

Have a good night. Thanks for stopping by,

Decor Elements...

...Thoughts and Prayers Tree!

Yesterday was the day I put the large chocolate tree up on my large livingroom wall. I love it! I do wish I placed the tree a little differently though, to the left a little more and down, but am still very pleased with it, overall. I'm soooooo loving the Decor Elements. You will too!!!

See what I mean?! It was fun and actually easy. This being somewhat big to do, was put up in sections but they were already separated. All I needed to do was just cut the sections apart. The directions were very easy. I had been wanting to purchase them and when several customers ordered them, I figured I better jump on the wagon and just DO it!! So glad I did. I'll help them out if they need it. These Decor Elements are almost like my other addiction. STAMPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
